All the best.
Be aware of the consequences.
Don’t neglect studies and examinations.
Anti-socials and corrupt diots are more united, because they will be sharing the un due benefit. They are intelligent enough to break your unity; be aware of it and be alert.
He must be giving share up to very high level; be cautious.
Try to remain within your limitations; and not to go into personal matters.
Be brave and united.

Very nice to hear from an alumni..:)
And for sure,we shall not break the “unity” funda..:)
You have done a good job of filing RTIs on various things in the college which are ofcourse needed to be enquired into. But one thing is that have you followed up your applications because I dont see replies of any except for few. Because if you dont follow up there is no use of putting up an application.
Mr.Harish,
All the RTI applcations for which we received an answer are uploaded on the blog.Rest all are rejected by the CPIO,that means information was not provided. For most of them we did file case with CIC.Thing is its a time borne process and for sure you would see improvement in future on how RTI’s are replied when applied at NITW.The major hurdle we came across was,the CPIO of NIT Warangal i.e.Registrar kept on changing for every 2 to 3 months and our efforts failed to get things on track as we had to start again from scratch talking to CPIO.Coming April 12th 2011 we have stake holders meet which is happening for first time in NITW and we expect things to move as per RTI act. This is the last chance we would be giving to NITW admin for RTI implementation.Non implementation would lead to democratic ways of expressing anguish.
Patience is required that is what we would say for now.
Hello NITians,
Stupendous work from NITW and had come out with master RTI paper with set of queries in NIT system on April 23rd’2010 and essentially, I wanted to help NIT system to beat and lead MIT,US.
Firstly, I congratulate the Asthra website and would help in all the ways to get NIT and indian education system very clean.
It is the time that education, exemplary credintials and many etc will not create value in the india system. It looks like 99.99 % everything in this country is sold for a price and people are not sincere…
I am from NITK and singly fighting with HRD ministry to clean up NIT system.
Please take it forward as I am also endorsing my RTI query in various categories.
It may be huge as I cannot endorse document. Hence, I will send you with yuor admin or contact address. I have not gone to second appellette.
I have also serious doubts about 10 NITs newly started …
HRD ministry is full of rougues and liars…
Please send your email ID’s and we will combine and fight it out.
IISc and IITs are absolutely corrupt and use less… they don’t have guts to come like this one..

Proud NITian.
Asthra,
You have made a great initiative in digging up information to make the system transparent. Effort made by you is stupendous.
As a concerned citizen wanted to bring forth a point i heard recently and would request you to take up the case. In the last academic year, I heard that one of the students ( a local politician’s son) Rahul Naik was passed in examionation which he was not eligible to appear in the first place as he didn’t register for the course and / or attend the classes. however he was allowed to write the exam and was given a passing certificate (sic). Is this true??? if it is, a forum like yours shoudl take this up immediately as it will affect the reputation of our institute.
congratuations on good work done so far.
NITW & Asthra!
Yes, It is True. Somehow the Senate at NITW is helpless due to the directions from ST commission. In any case, You can go through the following link for information of the case.
How in the god’s name was he even allowed to write the exam. Didn’t Mr Gokhale consider the facts before allowing him to write the exam…or was he pressurized into allowing this.
If this is the case…then what is the sanctity of the degree certificates issued by this college. Any small time poolitician’s son can buy it.
NITW
ASTHRA at NITW may be aware of the entire episode. The Asthra team at NITW should explore to file an RTI on this issue and educate the people under what circumstances such things can happen in educational institutes of national importance such as NITW etc.
